Missing Piece was founded on the idea that everyone is always missing that little something. Over the years, our little something has expanded to be your destination for gifts of Jewelry, Women’s Fashion, Home and Seasonal Décor, and Solid Wood Furniture Made in America. We are a family owned business that believes in getting to know our customers. Exceptional customer service is not just a catch phrase for us… It is our passion. This November we are celebrating 10 years in business and we couldn’t have done it without our loyal customers. We look forward to 10 more years!
And our loyal customers have rewarded us with 8 awards. We are the Morning Calls Readers Choice for “Best Gift Shop” for 2013, 2014, 2015 and in September of 2016, we were again voted Best Gift Shop for the 4th straight year. We were also voted Readers Choice for “Best Home Décor Store” for 2015.
In June of 2015 and 2016 we were awarded “Best Unique Gift Shop” by Lehigh Valley Magazine.
And in June of 2017 it was announced that we have won this award for the third year in a row. Thank you so much!!
Our product lines are unique and expansive. We offer everything from the colorful hydrania for your floral arrangement to braided rugs for the home. We carry curtains hand-made from the finest crafters in America to table lamps made in the wood shops of South Carolina. We offer the complete Brighton Collection and all of the popular beaded/bangle jewelry lines – Chamilia, Kameleon, Lori Bonn, Lokai, UNOde50, Moon Glow and Wind & Fire. Not to be left out – our purse lines of Vera Bradley, Scout, Brighton and so much more.
We also believe in giving back to our community. Throughout the year we hold special parties to support local sport and civic organizations.
Our Charity of choice is Angel 34, which is located 3 miles from our store. Since its establishment in 2003, Angel 34 has been committed to bringing hope and healing to the children and families of those affected by childhood cancer. Pediatric cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 18, killing more children than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and AIDS combined. Every year since 2009 we have held a fund raiser at our store the Saturday before Mother’s day called “Mothers for a Cure”. Due to our customer support on that day, we have been able to give over $20,000 to Angel 34 over the last 8 years. You can learn more about this exceptional organization at www.angel34.org.
